Say hello to Super Bear – the 2019 collectable teddy bear released by the Starlight Children’s Foundation and designed by five-year-old Madison, a tenacious young girl diagnosed with both cerebral palsy and nephrotic syndrome when she was just over a year old.
The Remington Group is proud to support the Starlight Children’s Canada Tribute Campaign and hope you will partner with us again to help families across Canada through the most difficult times imaginable. For 15 years, we’ve made these special bears available for purchase, helping the foundation uplift the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
Each Super Bear is just $20, and boxes containing 12 bears can be purchased as well.
Super Bear was inspired by Madison’s resilient spirit. She is always on the go – swimming, horseback riding, dancing and skiing – and Super Bear’s purple cape and name are reflective of the fact that Madison is her family’s very own super hero, tackling any obstacle with a big smile. Super Bear’s big, purple star is intended to grant wishes – just like Starlight Canada!
Proceeds from the sale of Super Bear go directly to helping sick children just like Madison. The Starlight Foundation uses your donations to provide distraction, entertainment and relief from the stress of hospitalization, to temporarily leave the “sick” behind and create special family memories with the goal of returning home with a renewed sense of strength and hope.
